Sherman GB Update... last one?? (warning... lots of pics!)

So, I finally had the chance to photograph my sherm. So here it is!!

I built the Dragon Iraeli M50 Super Sherman 1/35. The kit went together very well except for the track of course. The dividers in the middle of the tracks were a pain in the butt!! The peices were so small! and they didn’t all fit well. The links fitted to gether so tight I didn’t have to use glue to bend-fit them on! This also was a pain though as some links would buckle and you would have to link them back together again. With those complaints out of the way… the comments. The all around fit was swell, and the kit was a seer joy to build. The detali was superb and the wheels and tracks have very fine detail.

I scratch built a kleenex bedroll, a 5 gallon oil can on the front, antennaes, and a lead foil flag (don’t know if the flag is accurate[:0], just looks cool). The interior of the turret was also, sorta, half, scratch built so the looker has something to see inside. Forgive any inaccuracies, but also tell me about them. With all that jazz said, here’s some photos!!![:p]

Just for a treat, here are some photos that I took of it that also simply look cool, and some real!!

Whew!!! With that done, Feel free to leave any comments, or complaints. Also, if there are any that still want to join us…SPEAK NOW, OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE!!![;)]

Looks like a good build, just wish you could get better pictures.

Rodger that My camera is poo,: can’t afford a better one any time soon.

looks good stukabomb! you did a nice job with that…

for future refs, i had the same problem with DML indys before on a JS-152. I had to sand the middle contact on each one a little on each side, but then they went together no problem.

again, very nice job.!!!

Good job! Those tracks gave me fits also. Weathering looks good from what I can tell from the pics. Solid build.

Thanks for the comments guys!!
