Hey guys finished up Rosco’s Dodge Monaco today.
MPC kit a few little details around the interior, and some different wheels and tires. some light weathering and a couple small dents here and there

very well done model, considering this kit is pretty ordinary. Did you replace the wheels/tires (or did they change from the nascar racing tires that’s been in that kit since the 80s?)
There were 30 or more of each of the cars in that TV series because of the stunts and wrecks. One was sold for $125000 recently (a General Lee). I watched the show with my son and he got the biggest kick out of the antics of the characters. I paid most attention to Daisy Duke. My son thought the deputy’s name was Anus. Good memories. The model looks great and I look forward to your General Lee. As a muscle car guy I thought that show destroyed a lot of great Dodge Chargers. What a waist, but then again there was dear Daisy.
I read somewhere years ago that they wrecked 93 Dodge Chargers in the first 13 episodes! What a waste!

JT, I never followed that series and I think I have only sat through two or more episodes, unwillingly. However I am familiar with the kit and I know you didn’t have much to work with. That being said, I think you have done a fantastic job with your build. That is the best looking build of that kit I have seen since it was released. You have some great skills if you can get that hunk of plastic to look that great but everything I have seen you build and post looks great! Very nice job sir!!

I do have to agree, you took a not so nice kit and made it into a stellar build!! I especially like the subtle weathering and the fact that one of the knock off hubs is missing is an eye catcher!
That in itself draws the eye to the kit… Every cruiser that I see in my parts always had something or other missing lol
What did you use for the panel wash? I was debating on what to use on my 69 Nova build but I let it go as is…
