Cool, put me down for one! [:)] (there’s an idiot down at the lake who likes to terrorize everyone in his speedboat… wonder what he’d think if he met a Harrier hovering just above the water as he blasted around a turn?) hehehe [:D]
J.K… [;)]
Take care,
Frank
I’ll take one… of coarse I’ll have to ask the wife… well I’m not going to hold my breath.
I’ve got a family member or two who could use a lesson on how to treat people. Put me down for 2!
wow wouldn’t say no to one myself
Let me check my VISA card and see if there is enough left to get 1.
Darwin, O.F. [alien]
Me too.[#ditto][#ditto]
Or how about a race with a sea eagle anti ship missile? (Why is there no smiley for abject terror)
is this a joke?
I feel I’m missin somethin
are you talking about models or real ones?
I’ll take 2!
I believe snibbles intent was saying that a great aircraft’s career is coming to an end as well as possibly the end of another unit and closing of a base. Am I correct snibble?
I find it sad that modern military aircraft end up cut up for scrap with few left for museums and virtually none left flying for future generations to see and appreciate in the air. And then there is the closing of military bases which I won’t even get started on as I don’t have much time to type right now.
don’t feel that bad!!! The Indian Navy still has numerous sea harriers on active duty! About 40 or so I believe.
No! Don’t take back that idea Frank, it’s a real good one! [(-D]
Does the RN have any twin-stick SHARs on the market yet? As much fun as it would be to “have the sandbox” all to myself, it would be a blast to take people on rides! Check out that river gorge in my signature pic; would that ride not totally rock!
“No Wake Zone?” No problem!
It really would, Grant!!! [:D] I bet you would have some green (literally) passengers crawling (or being CARRIED) out of the back seat when you got back from their ride! [:D]
My friend with the speedboat down a Baden would be seen disappearing into the spray from my engines… the Harrier would then slowly turn and head off in the direction he went… and the speedboat would be history! [;)] [:)] [:D]
Take care,
Frank
I’d spend more a year on back-seat sic-sacks than on fuel!
Think they would take a 1995 Toyota 4Runner as a trade-in? One of those puppies would sure make my morning commute a lot easier.
Heck, I might not mind coming to work if that was the case.
Heh heh, yeah. I’d like to see those Republic [censored] try to ticket me for using their lots to “park” one of those!
As soon as there’s a how-to book on PCB nozzles… I know some ricerocket cars down the street that think they’re the fastest thing on the planet.
