And now I know what a web-ring is! Thanks, MMF.

It does indeed sound like a good idea.

As for a name…hmmm…
How about :
Love That Plastic
?

The Plastic Addicts?

The Plasmatics?

what do you think of:

finescalebuilders webring
finescalemaniacs webring
finescalemania webring

what do you think of:

finescalebuilders webring
finescalemaniacs webring
finescalemania webring

What about (since we can’t have a reference to FSM…): Fanatical Serial Modelers, or the plastic asylum…

Ok, guys and gals.

I have decided on a name for the Webring and also created the Logo.

The name will be:
International Modelers Webring

Logo:

The Webring will consist of members coming from a variety of countries as well as genres and different materials that are used in kit building.

To become elligible for listing in the webring you will need to follow a few simple rules and guidlines:
1.) NO commercial or business websites will be accepted, you can only apply for Web-sites that a) belong to you b) showcase models you build yourself c) Sell/Trade your OWN creations/buildup(as long as it does not fall into the business category).
2.) No pure reference sites will be added, your site might contain a section of reference materials and that is fine.
3.) Tips and techniques sites are welcome.
4.) If you think a site is worthwhile to be included contact the webring admin(me) and suggest the site, I will follow up and contact the site owner.
5.) Any Site will only be included ONCE only, no multiple listings for different sections.
6.) Webring members need to make sure that their pages include the navigation panel on the SAME page that the webring links to.
7.) Any broken links, non-available pages should be reported to the Webring admin(me).

I am still updating the tools for the webring and also making a few cosmetic changes, I will start to take request for joining soon (watch this space).

After I get a join request I will review the site to make sure it meets the criteria, if it does I will send a reply e-mail with the “navigation panel” code to be added.
Once this has been added to the site(notification from site-owner needed), I will activate the site on the webring.
It may take a few days for the whole process to be done.

See you guys soon.

Sounds good. Keep us posted.

Madda’s “Advanced Modeler’s Syndrome Support Ring” was cool…! Pity…!

It was good, but I wanted a name that non-modelers could also associate with.
[:D]

Anyhuh, it is all done now and I am heading for the crash-testing. Lets see waht gives, but it should work alright. (Famous last words)
[:D]

Good name and logo, MMF.

Thanks, but the logo took me a whole 40seconds to create.
[:D]

Anyhuh, here goes.

International Modelers Webring

Ok, I will start to take request for inclusion into the webring from now on,pls , don’t flood me with requests though(maintenance is a manual code editing process).

Sites are added in the order that I receive the E-Mails, it might take 2 or 3 days before I can get back to you though and you will get the code snippet that you will need to include on your site.

Cool deal MMF. Sounds great.

Ok, guys.

Lets get this Baby on the road.

Send me your join requests via the URL below:

Join Request Form

Don’t worry no special skills are needed to fill in the form, or to cut/paste the little bit of code needed to get your site functional on the webring.

Wait for me…still need some modifications on my site. I like it to be looking good before it is linked to the ring.

Do you want me to e-mail you the code already so that you can add it in with your mods??
