Hey everybody ready for one more, jump in at any time as long as your build is completed by the 15 of Jan.

The “guide line’s”

Any scale, country or era.

Any military vehical used to service or supply troop,s or other military vehical’s.

Example’s;Tank recovery,fuel truck’s,munition carrier’s,bridgelayer’s, radio veh.,field kitchen’s,CBRN detection vehical’s,crane and tow truck’s,jeep’s(no mg’s)

Kit’s must be unstarted all AM and scratch building is welcome.

If it is an acceptable subject, I was just about to get started on a WW2 US Army Class 325 fire engine.

I’m using Italeri’s 1/35 GMC 2 1/2 ton truck modified into a Chevrolet 1 1/2 ton truck for the cab and chassis. Lots of scratchbuilding for the body and pump.

If this works I’ll set it aside for a few more days.

Aaron this would fit right in with this GB and a very interesting subject welcome aboard.

Well with all of the GB’s we have giong on I hope you guy’s have’nt forgotten about this one [:-^].Hope to start on my bergtiger in a couple of week’s,first I need to get my camera back from the shop and finish up my 251. Looking foward to seeing all of you build’s.

I haven’t forgotten, either. I’m practically drooling over the Steyr RSO in my stash (I have four, actually [:D]), but I better not start until my latest dio is finished.

I’ll catch up with you guys soon.

I wish I could start on my Ford T Lorry, but I still have to go to my local hobby shop and order it.[BH] But I guess it’s not so bad, since I’ll probably end up buying a new model or so and some paints, and some weathering supplies.

[banghead] I also have to go buy a bottle of Future, I forgot last time I was at the store.

Thank goodness this GB doesn’t end untill 1/15/09.

hi guys got a update for you. i have most of the m-978 done. its all most ready for the paint booth. i hope to get a few pics up some time later tonight for you. i will also be droping the m977 and the kangroo from the gb.

Just got my kit earlyer man that is one tiny machin I’ll proly start work tonight but won’t get to far because I leave for England and Frace tomaro.

sorry no pics tonight i had yard dutie for 2 houses to do. i should have them up in the morning. na not as quick as biffa yet. i still have to get my priest kanagroo done for the vintage gb and that one is about 90% done i just have a lot of accerrioes to put on it and the road wheels and tracks. and some weatheing and its done

Put me in for the Polish version of the FIAT 508 pickup. This is a 1/35th scale vacuform and resin kit by S Model. I might add the Bofors 37mm ATG by Tom’s to it and some figures. The Poles license built this vehicle in many forms, its a neat little utility truck.

Mike sorry but it can’t have the Bofors to qualify for this build.It could be carrying the ammo for the Bofors.

Then scratch the Bofors, that’s a separate kit anyway.

Last week I was on a business trip and started the kit by cutting the pieces away from the vacuform sheet.

I still haven’t started my kit because I’m still waiting for it.[BH][BH] Thank goodness their’s time before the end date of this GB.

Got a start last night, I had to remove many of the louvers from the sides of the hood and used some plastic sheet to fill in the gun ring. Its starting to look more like a 1 1/2 ton chevrolet.

I’ll get some pics when I get the cab together.

All I did was the rough cutting away from the vacuform sheets just to occupy myself in the hotel at night. No assembly was done. I was afraid that a partial assembly would have been crushed by the baggage handlers. My carry on bag was already loaded. Just a little dry fitting to see how it would look. Not a lick of glue used.
