I’m starting on a 1/48 piper cub (trying to keep it simple, as i gain experiance)
I was wondering about the painting process. Should i paint the cockpit and install into fusluge than put together rest of plane than primer it and paint? seems like this would be the least difficult than priming and painting the indivdual parts?
Any help would be appreciated

I normally have the interior pretty much done up before much anything else… don’t really know why, but they always seem to happen that way. Hey, be sure to show your Cub off when you get it made; not enough of them around here! {:)]

paul it sounds like you are doing great. and seriously that describes the progression of my builds. i do the cockpit, weather and wash, then i put the halves together. put on the canopy, filler, sand, primer, and then paint.

You forgot masking joe… or are ya that good ???
i did forget masking. that is mixed into the process just before the painting of the body. dont know how i could have forgotten it.
