Hey all,
I just joined this forum yesterday. Pixilater has been helping me out with a problem regarding an F4U-1D cockpit…
I’ve been modeling on and off since I was a kid, but have recently returned to the hobby in a semi-serious way. I do mostly… well anything. Right now I am on an airplane kick - I’m working on the Tamiya F4u-1D and have Accurate Miniatures Stormyvik waiting in the wings (he he - get it, ‘wings’…[:p]). Then I’ll probably do some armor for awhile. My dad was a Navy guy so I think I might try to build him a model of the ship he was on during Vietnam (the USS Hawkins - a tin can of some sort or another).
Uhh, what else. As I imply in my subject line, I am a Jarhead. Little over four years active duty and 13 (so far) in the reserves. Somehow we have not been activated (yet). Not sure if that is a blessing or a curse.
Anyways, I am excited to get to know you guys (and gals too, I presume?).
By the way, my rank is listed as ‘snap-together’. Man, low man on the totem pole? What’s a guy got to do to get promoted around here? [;)]
