Seeking Info on 1/32 A-6 Intruder

Has anybody heard any news about Trumpeter’s release of a 1/32 A-6 Intruder I had heard they where coming out with it, I would so love to get my hands on one. Thanks in advance

Scott

Haven’t heard on this one yet. But I have heard about the TBD-1 in 1/32 thats on their web site.

I don’t know, it was supposed to be Dec. of '05, but that obviously didn’t happen! I looked on GMW’s website the other day and they did have it listed as Dec.'05, but now its just listed as “future”, whatever that means [:D] You might take a look over at www.hlj.com they have had it on their site for awhile with a couple pics of one that is done, but not painted.

EDIT

HLJ’s site says they are expecting it around Feb. 13. So hopefully they will be getting them over here not to long after that!

May I as politely as possible suggest that you–and others–use more specific headers? “Seeking Info” doesn’t tell us anything. Info on a 1:144-scale Constellation? a 1:32-scale Focke-Wulf?? Info on how to sand resin??? Info on how to convice your wife that modeling is productive??? Those of us who have no interest in an A6 Intruder model can skip your post. Or, if the header says “Seeking Info on A6 Intruder Kits,” we’ll open it by the dozens.

Why is it such a big deal? Please don’t take this the wrong way, but the back button works fairly quick.

Did you find anything else out about this kit BlueBlaster? I am pretty interested in it myself!

Yes, I understand that, but the point is you’re just wasting time even opening a thread that it turns out you have absolutely no interest in. Or, conversely, that you don’t bother to open a thread that, if you actually knew what it was about, would be of great interest to you.

You’re right, it isn’t a big deal. But nor is it a big deal to head a message, “Seeking A-6 Intruder information” rather than just “Seeking information.”

Imagine what the forum would look like if it was filled with threads titled “Question,” “Seeking information,” “Here’s one,” “How’s this” and the like.

Stephan

I agree with the back button…

I have heard that it has been pushed out and we probably won’t see the official test shots until July.

[xx(]JULY!!!??? [:O][:(!][B)] Jeez, thats just not right! Maybe I will delay buying it for 7 months and see how they like it! Oh wait, they won’t care [:D]

Man I’ve waited many years for a larger scale guess I can wait 6 months more, I’m curious on what decal sheets they’ll provide. I want to model VA-34 (BlueBlasters) or VA-36 (Roadrunners) both squadrons I was attached to. I have a 1/48 old Revell A6 but dang that scale is smaller then I remember.
