Well, fellow tread-heads, who makes the best/most accurate wheels/tires for the RoG LAV-25?
I’m looking to try my hand at some extra detailing on this one, and all the reviews I’ve read make the comment that the tires are one thing that has to be corrected.
I’m trying to decide between CAM resin, Accurate Armor, or MR Models, so what do you all think?
Edit: I forgot to mention, 1/35 scale. Thanks, Gino.
okay, ive been searching and I found a photo etch, decal and RUBBER TIRES for an LAV-25. anyways, the site is www.ontheway.us/kitlists/acekitlist.htm
hope it helps
I usually buy through Squadron or Great Models and that’s where I saw the CAM, AA or MR options. I figure someone out there has either tried one of these or knows of someone who has that could give me a down-n-dirty review, otherwise I’ll probably go with the least expensive option, all things being equal.
I don’t know the quality of any of the tires, but Hobby Fan makes early and late style LAV tires as well. That may help you decide on what era you’d like to build.
