Hey all!
I got some more Progress done on my P 39 Aircobra I’ve been building. Take a look at these latest photos:
Here I’ve got the fuselage put together with the pilot installed:

I put some lead fishing weights in the nose to make sure it will sit right when it’s done. Notice the pilot actually looks like a pilot now! [;)]
This is a closeup shot of the pilot and the engine detail:

I painted the engine with Polly Scale Grimy Black and then dry-brushed it with silver. I think it looks pretty cool!
Next, I got started on my F-15J Eagle. This is the cockpit being testfit into one side of the front fuselage half.

As you can see, I put in a lead fishing weight here as well, since I’m not sure that the model will sit right. It doesn’t say in the instructions that one is needed, but I don’t mind a bit of insurance.
Here is the main fuselage complete. It still has the clamps on it to eliminate any gaps:

Things are moving along! I also have a MiG 21 I will be starting soon. It is going to be doine as an Indian MiG.
Stay tuned for more pics later. Comments welcome and appreciated.
Sorry for the lack of burgers. The grill ran out of charcoal! [B)]
