Looking for S-3 & E-2C in 1/48 are they available. Oh and how about any carrier vehicles like the crash trucks are they available in 1/48. Thanks for the help.
AMT had a S-3 out for a while. The last time I saw it though it had been converted to an ES-3. Have you tried e-bay yet? I’ve found several of the OP kits I’d been looking for there.
The AMT kit was 1/72.

Grumman E-2C Hawkeye @ 1/48: Collect-Aire (resin) & Combat (now Roberts Models) (vacuform).

As for modern day carrier vehicles @ 1/48. I think Verlinden is your best bet. Click here. I think I saw these at Squadron and somewhere else.
ESCI and Italeri have 1/48th S-3 kits. Two that I have are: Italeri Kit# 2623 S-3A/B, and ESCI US-3A COD (Carrier On-Board Delivery) Kit# 4053. They are readily available at most hobby shops.
