Monogram had one in 1/48th

Go to www.squadron.com and search “F-20” Hasegawa has it in 1/72 scale about $8.00.

The one I have is either from Italeri or Hasegawa. I think it is Hasegawa though:

This was built about 16-18 years ago, so the kit is most likely out of production. It is in 1/72 scale, and may possibly still be found on E-bay or other sites. There is also the possibility of a couple of re-issues out there too.

I don’t know of any kits in 1/48th scale, but someone else more knowledgeable may be able to tell you about any 1/48th scale kits.

Good luck in finding one.

Here are some kits:

The list given above is pretty much it, although there’s one or two that I hadn’t known about. Interesting…

The Hasegawa 72nd kit is probably the best out there, overall.

The Monogram 48th kit is okay, a bit old and it has raised panel lines… in case you have an aversion to such things…

The Hasegawa 48th kits are reboxed Monogram.

The Revell of Germany 100th kit is very nicely done and well detailed for its size.

The LS F-20 is a nice little kit. I was almost tempted to keep the ones I had and build all three F-20s… but in the end they were just a tad too small for me.

I’ve seen an ARII box, but never looked inside, so I dunno what it’s like. I’ve heard that it’s a copy of the LS kit, but I don’t believe most of what I hear until I can verify it myself…

I’m totally unfamiliar with the Airfix and Trumpeter kits, although I have a suspicion that the Airfix kit might be reboxed Revell of Germany. That’s just a bit of guesswork on my part, though. And 1/350 airplanes are too dang small for me to pay attention to unless they come with a carrier… [;)]

Fade to Black…

Take a look at evilBay item #5969494102, it is a Monogram 1:48 F-20, current bid is about $8.00.
