I have been to Flight Decs and searched all of the manufacturers…Anyone out there from the Land of the Long White Cloud that can help me out?
Just a follow up to Joe,
If anyone could find A-4 new zealand air force decals for me in 1/48?
Did you read that color and camoflage article illustrated by Phil Kirchmeier in FSM Sept 1997? Beautiful paint scheme right?

Hey Joe,
Try this link http://www.gekkographics.com.au/
I think you’ll find just what the doctor ordered.
Plenty of Kiwi cals as well as some other neat surprises as well.
Have a good one.
Tank
Sorry Leon,
I was almost certain I saw 1/72 kiwis…
Didn’t mean to disappoint you.
Why don’t you go for the 1/48 skyhawk, plenty of nice kits by hasegawa.
Tank
Would not mind the 1/48 at all…but space issues prevent me from most 1/48 projects…plus I am a masochist and can’t get enough of the Braille Scale[:o)]
PS Who is Leon?[;)]
Sorry Joe,
And understand your situation…
When I was younger I built a few 1/72 airplane kits…Some helos are pretty neat in that scale as well as the larger bombers…I’ll probably buy a few tamiya 1/72 WWII bombers to build soon.
Any recommendations?
Chat soon,
Tank
There has been alot of talk and anticpation for the Hasegawa Lancaster, I’d check that one out. I am working on the Advent 1/72 Dam Buster, just a rebox of the old Revell kit…LOTS of scratch building going on with that one…may be my Holy Grail project…
Hey joerugby
I’m a kiwi , I’ll have a look around on some of the sites over here and get back to you!
Are their any specific design your looking for?
Brilliant!
I have an A4C in the stash if that helps and would prefer to do a camo bird. Really something with the Kiwi roundel, the scale has been killing me, 1/72, tough to find stuff. I am going to do a SANZAR jet build, Bok Sabre, Kiwi A4 and a Wallaby ?, probably an F18…
Are you looking forward to the Lions tour in June?
Have’nt found anything in 1/72 yet but I’m still searching!
Hey JoeRugby
I’ve found a set of decals for you, they cost approximatly NZ$9.95 excluding packaging and handling, you can find them at this NZ modelling website which has online internet shopping and shipping to countrys [www.modelcraftsandhobbies.co.nz] is the website!
The decals are suggest for the Italeri,Hasegawa and fujimi kits .
The product code number is [1267201] , this should help you find it easier to find the product.
Just so you know this website is excellent and there service is top notch and totally secure so you don’t have to worry about things!!![:D]
Thanks!!! I am ready to roll on the SANZAR build…hope to have some photo’s up soon, starting on the Bok (South African Saber)
I think I have a set that came from Fujimi, let me chack the stash.
try trevor bringans ltd (09) 2623758, they were doing rnzaf decals, don’t know if they still do, may be worth a try.
they are in the auckland area, where i am
Hey ww2boy
What part of auckland are you from?
Hey joerugby
Did you check the site? is it any good to you?
Joe,
Got a set in 72nd from Microscale (72-437). Includes markings for a A-4K or TA-4K from the 75th Squadron, 1975. These are the red, white and blue markings, not the low viz ones they used before they retired. Sheet includes roundals and serial numbers for 6 aircraft (3 of each version).
If you are interested, send me an email with your address and how many sets you want and I will get them off to you.
Sorry Tank, don’t have anything in 48th. Know the old Fujimi kit came with Kiwis (1/50th scale) so maybe someone has a set laying around.
1/50 scale? I didn’t know that the kit came with that size decals!
