I am looking for a 1950-1955 Chevrolet, Dodge or Ford 1 1/2 ton flatbed/stake truck 1/35th scale as used by the military at that time. Is there a model available or is there something I can modify to get what I need?
Thanks,
Richard

This truck kit is in 1/32 scale, close enough to 1/35. It is a standard stepside 1956 Ford pickup truck. Its capacity is probably ¾ to 1 ton though but since it is a slightly larger scale, you could fudge it and pretend it is a 1¼ ton truck. It is an old reissue kit. You could probably make a flat bed or stake truck out of it with a little styrene and balsa wood.

Thanks for the input it might work. I’ll check it out. Do you know of a military duce and a half from that same era (early 50’s) and tha same scale?
