Sea blue for a TBM Avenger

I’m building an Accurate Miniature Avenger and it call for sea blue. I am using Tamiya paints which does not have this color. How do I make sea blue?

Tamiya XF-17 Flat Sea Blue, while not an exact match to ANA 607 Non Specular Sea Blue, but it is fairly close. You can gloss coat it to get ANA 623 Gloss Sea Blue as well.

they discontinued XF-17 then brought it back when they got their label issues redone.

There is a sea blue available in Testor’s line of acrylics.

I don’t think he has to worry about that labeling issue. Mr Constructor lives in the Phillipines [;)]

Stikpusher is right. We don’t have much issues here about those kind of stuff. The good news is I found a bottle of XF-17 among the old bottles of paints that I keep and a few drops of thinner resurrected it. I hope to start painting soon except the I have some fit problems with the right half of the fuselage that has to be addressed to. I will post some photos soon.
