Dragons got one coming out
ive got the verlinden conversion but the searchlight is to far forward
Thanks for the information and links! I will print these pages out in the next few days. I was planning to do a complete set of vehicles (IR Panther /w Solution A, B, and the 251/ halftracks) after I saw what Dragon had planned on releasing (or has!). Note, I did the ‘Night Fighting Panther’ when it first came out, and I was not impresed with the kit. I ended up with 3 extra complete sets of the IR sprues, when I opened the box (someone goofed at Dragon!) as I thought that the Tamyia Panther G (late or Steel Wheeled) was a better kit detail wise. I plan on doing this setup using those extra sprues only attached to a Tamyia Panther G this time. I hope that the planned UHU kit by Dragon (the 251 is like the other 251’s!)is the same as the other kits as these are outstanding for a halftrack! I know that the AFV kit is marginally better, and I am wondering if a kit-bash between the two will work?
Thanks imornery81 for the links!
Please note that I had (lost all of these in my fire in 2001) the Concord Panther book (Black cover one) and I think that the captions in this book, that deal with the IR Panther’s is wrong on some regards. Just my opinion here.
