Actually I have two questions. First, does anyone know of where I can get an ambulance conversion kit for the Auf C? I found one while I was surfin’ around and did have the common sence to mark the site.[banghead] Now I can’t remember where it was or who produced it. [banghead][banghead] I would deeply appreciate any help you can give me. Now my second question; what are the protrusions from the firewall area that look like outside rearview mirrors? I’ve looked everywhere I can think of to find parts break down of sorts but have had no luck.[%-)]
MR Models of Germany did a conversion kit for the older Tamiya Sdkfz 251D. I would imagine you could backdate it to fit your ausf C.
The items on the side are turn indicators. The driver would engage some mechanism and a flap would extend from that item – warning those behind of an impending turn left or right.
