i think that the spent shell catchers on the 7.5 guns were a textile material like canvas. right? if so, the piece on this model is blocky and looks like it was made of metal. anyone have experience in scratch building a brass bag? i was thinking brass rod frame and epoxy putty mold for the bag. but what material to use for the bag itself? tissueand thinned down white glue maybe?lead foil?thnx
Thinned 2 part epoxy can be used to simulate tarp and canvas material…
The few times I have done it I have used thinned latex caulk on the tissue from a shirt. Works great.
