Sd.Kfz. 10/8 - ObservationsKraftwagen *wip*

dear colleagues in modelling,

here my first pictures of my newest scratchbuiltproject in the Demag-series; the 10/8 Observationskraftwagen. A lot of things which I need to do before the primer comes up.

Hints and tips are warmly welcome !

Thanks for looking

Very cool, were these used in the V2 program?

awesome job, neat looking vehicle. what kind of paint job are you going to do? Cant wait to see it when its finished.

Wow…looking good, what ever it is! Never heard of it. What’d it do or be used for?

…looks a lot like a sdkfz 250/5 beob, that were issued to StuG units as command vehicles…seems like they are also very similar to those armored V2 vehicles you see in German newsreels…

thanks for your comments gents.

@ ps1scw : No these vehicles were not used with V2-launchbatteries, but the SdKfz 7/9 was.

@ Townsy11 : thanks !

@ Doog : these vehicles were used for reconnaissance and funk.

@ Mansteins Revenge : I think you mean the SdKfz 253. The casing resembles quite much indeed

Coming along nicely Frank! [tup]

Dear gents,

Here a short update on the scratchworks. Some errors were taken away and some items were added or altered. I just finished the antenna-basis in the rear.

Hints and tips are welcome.

thanks for your attention

…nice work…what units used this vehicle?–it is new to me, being very similar in appearance and function as the sdkfz 253…what refs are you using?

WOW, Frank–this build is just kicking BUTT![:P][tup]
