I was in a LHS in Seattle and the owner said the the Hasegawa 1/48 F/A-18F was already out!!! [8D] Can anyone confirm this? I’m guessing it may be out in Japan first.
Yes indeed it’s out. Sold like hotcakes at the Nats in Atlanta! A very nice kit and it compliments the Revell F/A-18E very well.

I’ve found a spot that has some Revell 1:48 scale F/A-18"E" kits($21) BUT I’d really like to pick up this Hasegawa kit…for sure!!!

I just got off the phone with my hobby shop source in Toronto and he says they have a shipment of the new Hasegawa Super Bug kits due in this week:
that would be August 1st - 5th.
I’ll be in Toronto August 17th, so I, of course, asked him to set one aside for ME and he said he would. Nice fellow.
Can’t wait to see it…I guess it has die cast complete gear…not just the inner support arms…plus Hasegawa decals are as good as ANY after market source.
Can’t beat VF-103 “Jolly Rogers” markings ,either.
I expect to pay about $ 75 Cdn for it.

List price here is 6,090 yen ($55.36 USD), but the LHS always sells at a 10% discount (not just during special sales) , so I saw 'em for 5,400 yen ($49 USD).
I have’nt seen one in the UK yet, Hannants still have’nt got them in stock but when they do-I’m gonna get one!
