My first post has a link in it.

its Shift 3, ive got a US keyboard layout and its not on here(Microsoft)
Hey do you think one of these would keep the neighbours’ garden gnomes out of my yard? Hmmm… Maybe if I can fit that old .22 semi automatic rifle mechanism in the turret, and then …[:D]

Cool, a pound sign!
My keyboard is Japanese, so I don’t have it, either.
But I do have a yen key!
Here it is: #65509;
Can ya’ll see it?
I reckon not! Just a bunch of numbers. Different system, I suppose…
Not to be a smart…err rear end (gotta watch the language) but if you want to play with currency symbols just use Microsoft word and cut and paste here (or wherever):
Display and enter the euro and other currency symbols
Microsoft Word provides full support for displaying and entering the euro and other currency symbols.
Use the Symbol dialog box to insert the euro and other currency symbols
On the Insert menu, click Symbol.
In the Font box, click a font that supports the symbol you want.
In the from box, click Unicode (hex).
The set of characters is limited if you select something other than Unicode in the from box. For example, if you select a local code page rather than Unicode, you will see a correspondingly reduced set of characters in the Symbol dialog box.
In the Subset box, select Currency Symbols.
If Currency Symbols is not available, then the selected font does not support currency symbols.
Select the currency symbol you want, and then click Insert.

Is it just me, or does this turret:

Appear a bit underscale?
I am glad to see that these guys are improving on reality. The ISU-152 kit is advertised as including a rotating turret!
As much as I was ever willing to spend on a kit was around $850, for a 1/80th scale vinyl Godzilla model from Kaiyodo. I got a big bonus in 1996 because the Wall Street law firm where I practiced did so well (go-go 90’s), no thanks to me I should add, and I took part of it and bought the “big guy” goji. Here’s part of the three feet tall, six foot long kit, sculpted by Yuji Sakai, the guy who does the concept sculpts for Toho:

Moral of the story: I never built it. Frankly, I can cope with having 1/35th scale vehicles, or 1/350th scale ships, or whatever, but a Godzilla taller than my two year olds was just too embarrassing. [:p] After a certain point your models don’t just make you look eccentric any more – they make you look bizarre!
So goji awaits the day when I am a widower in a big house and need some company, and no one will be coming to see me anymore anyway …
