Scratchbuilt B-18 Bolo....Finished

Well after 4 months or so of on and off work I finished the Bolo as I wanted it, and thanks
to the fine people who helped me from the National Air and Space Museum in Washington…

Step One… Check the plans, finish mesurements and cut the wood blocks…(Mahogany).

Excellent job.

Nice job, Solid. Every time you put one of these up I think about trying one myself.

As usual… very well done. It’s imprsseive to think that started as a block of wood.

Bravo, Solid! This is a true accomplishment to be proud of! Not many left who can start with a block of wood and end up with a beautiful scale model like this! A tip of the cap to you!

As always, a great looking build.

Karl

Well done Solid [tup].

I love the Bolo - excellent job! I’m headed right over to the Scratchbuild forum to see the rest of your pics!

Amazing!!

Beautiful job on the build of a rarely modeled aircraft!

Mark

Beautifull job of old school modeling. It is amazing to see the only way it use to be done as opposed to the way it is done now. You are a true craftsman.
