Scratchbuild go me.

Soon I’m going to start scratchbuilding a driver’s compartment for my T-90 (soviet tank. I will replicate the T-72 drivers compartment thoyugh. I can live with this inaccuracy) conversion. Does anybody know a place I can get reference pics? I don’t want to buy a book. Also, any tips for this newbie scratchbuilder? Thanks.

Patience, patience, and dont shoot for something too complicated

Can’t help you with references Tankmaster7 but it’ll be a great build when it’s done. If I run accross anything I’ll send it your way.

For the rest of us you should build it real fast!!! Why? because it never fails, when someone does a scratchbuild it is almost always immeadiatly followed by a release by one of the companies LOL!!! [;)][:D]

Hmm, have a roll-call to Scorn, he sent me a bunch of really good reference pics for the T-72 series of tanks. I can forward you his e-mail. Can you e-mail me at zzoranovic@yahoo.com since I’ll have to be reminded of it.
Way to go on the scratchbuild. I’m building an interior (well, a very simple interior) for my DML Shilka. I must admit, scratching takes a lot of care and patience, but it’s a great way to learn.

A great link to a pretty nice scratchbuild of a T-62 interior that you can use as a starting point.

shanelangston@gmail.com for the pictures. don’t know if I have a lot of the interiors. When my wife brings my camera home I can get you a ton of T-72 pics as I have a pretty good book on it, but no scanner. Just e-mail me and let me know what you want.

Scorn, thanks, mate. I will send you an email as soon as I finish my work. I’m just looking for pictures of the driver’s compartment.
