I finally got the tires into the container. 163 tires to be exact. Thanks to all my fellow modellers from around the world who donated most of the tires. So I hope you all approve of the final look as I am calling this done.

Thanks for that, although my knowledge of trucks is not any more than any normal person. I just make sure to look at lots and lots of reference pics. 
I pass by trucks many times and sometimes stop to look at some and take pics.
Man that looks good! That’s some hard work that paid off right there.

I’ll say it again as it bares repeating, the king of weathering strikes again, I honestly wish I had half your skills, whenever I look at your art its always with a tinge of jealousy (sorry but there it is) I also learn a lot, I analyse how I think you’ve done something and try to emulate it, I’m still missing something but I do feel I’m getting there.
Kind words. I too have those same feelings after looking at some great models out there. I then go back to the drawing board and experiment. But if there is anything i can help you with please ask.

Your eye for detail and how various surfaces weather, get grime, have worn out spots is peerless.

I shall now go back to my bench and overspray my currant attempt with plaster of paris and take the resulting lump out to the garden for a lawn ornament. But I will get on with my next project, weaving yarn from my clothes drying machine lint- it will keep me calm

Wickedly COOL!! The only thing I would recommend would be to weather a few of the tires to make it look like some of them spent time in the elements for a while, or got covered up in sand, mud wash, etc. It would add some visual interest in that huge bed of same-tires.

Another fantastic effort, Tiking. The replaced tire rim on the truck, the Michelin Man mascot, the abused paint and abused container, the weathering and general wear and tear appearance- all just fantastic!
