Can anyone suggest a good source or brand for purchasing very “thin” scissors for rigging and small-tight areas? I have purchased needlepoint types but I find them not as sharp as I would prefer.

Get a set of scissors that the fly-tying guys use…go to any hardcore fishing/sporting goods store, they should have them. A surgical supply house is also a safe bet.
Get a spool of fly-typing tippet while you’re there…it’s great for rigging small scale stuff.
