Scaling Point du Hoc Normandy invasion

Robert Marquinez submitted this diorama of the 2nd Ranger Battallion scaling the Point du Hac cliffs during the Allied Normandy, on June 6, 1944.

This Unusual diorama was presented at the Atlanta Model Figure Show. One of the hight points of the 75th anniversary of the Normandy Invasion certainly deserves the best of show prize.
