Scale Motorsports Super Detail Kit

I’m going to get the new Enzo Super Detail kit for my 7th Enzo model. I want to try something new, so I thought this kit would be neat. I need to know of any tips before I start. I have never used this kind of PE though I have used PE plants for dinosaur diaramas. Is there any special tool and techniques? Or glues? I want to know EVERYTHING that EVERYONE knows. THis may be a fairly large jump at PE detail sets, but I’m sure I’ll be okay once I know how to work 'em. Thanks Peoples!!

I would have thought it would be much the same as you’ve used before. I use cyno glues (very carefuly) and use an ordinary old pair of sissors to cut the piece from the fret, if it needs folding I use one hobby knive along the seam and put the blade of another under it and bend carefully (one day I’ll get a proper “hold and fold” tool). I use a needle file or small flat file to remove the connection tag. Nothing else comes to mind, pretty easy really.

EnzoMan-
Congratulations on your purchase of the Enzo detail kit. I’ve bought some stuff from Scale Motorsports before and I was impressed.
Just remember the single most important thing when trying something new like this -
PATIENCE!!!
Just test fit, go slowly, and think before you leap. That way, you’ll probably be pretty much guaranteed a successful result.
Good luck, mate!

Thanks folks! Easier than I thought so far. Anyone else?

follow the instructions to the letter. and use the right tools, i have used a SMS detail set for the Tamiya GT-One TS020. made a huge difference in the kit. all i need is a new body shell as i FUBAR’ed the old shell. good luck and send us some pics when you have finished!! [:D]

That may be quite a while from now before I get it. I gotta save for this one. Then I gotta get a good digi cam. My can’t take any decent pictures!! Then when I figure out how to post pics I post a page full of 'em.
