Does anyone know of a site which offers aftermarket wheels and tires for 1/24 & 1/25 scale autos? I’m looking for 15" and 16" scale rims for a project I’m working on. All I can seem to find are the new style 20" rims with low profile tires. I want an old school hotrod look for my projects. Trying to reproduce the cars I have owned in the past. These used to be quite easy to find, but lately, no dice.
One of FSMs other publications “Scale Auto” has lots of manufacturers listed for AM parts. Try their site or on your next trip to the LHS pick up a copy. There are lots of sites to go to but my feeble mind can’t seem to recall any. Hang in there and someone else might give them to you. Good luck in your search.

Hello, as race car guy, I usually go to stradasports.com, but islandcollectibles.net carries a line called Perry’s Resins. They have some cool stuff if I remember right. Also, Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland has quite a few hot rod wheels. You have to order a catalog from them if I remember right. If they are on the web now, then my apologies. miniexotics.com has a lot of pewter wheels too. I hope that helps.

Thanks, I appreciate the info! I will be checking these sites out asap. What I’m interested in finding are the typical wheel styles from when I was a hot rodding teenager, Cragars, Keystone’s, ET aluminum slotted wheels. I completed a 70 Olds Cutlass years ago which turned out very nice, (i had to kitbash a 69 Cutlass for the undercarrage and suspension). Back then the hobby stores had all the aftermarket supplies I wanted, Now, not so much.

MRC has some the wheels you are wanting.I saw them awhile back but I can’t remember the site.I’ll try and find a link.Ya can also check evilbay for them as well.That is where I got mine.
