Hi…I have a SBD build thread in A/C…to the point where I must attach the dive brakes and wonder about painting. The holes are drilled, parts are primed and insides are bloody red.
Should I paint the A/C before attaching the flaps? You know…paint separately and attach later?
Any advice appreciated!
It’s either that or masking them so the outer color does not interfere with the inner color.
I would paint the bird now and attach the brakes later. Just in case you needto touch up any paint boo-boos, it would be easier without them in your way. Besides, they would prolly break off if you had to touch them up on the plane.
Hmmmmm paint em now Paint em now! What ye waiting on they had better be done by morn or they’ll be a price on yer hide mind ye! If ye has the paints that is? No sniffin the fumes!
