Say Hello to Connie !

Love the Connie and you have done a great job! thanks for sharing.

Fantastic job, Leon!

My parents told me that the Connie (TWA) was the best flight they had in an airplane…the service was great and the flight was extremely smooth.

Regards, Dan

Thanks soooo… much EVERYONE!!

Your all so kind.

The finish is plain ol’ Testors Gloss White, from a rattle can,
and the NMF, is Bare Metal Foil. And kit decals.

The kit, is the old Monogram, odd scale (1/144?) when it was out
in there Heritage Series.
I built this roughly 10-12 years ago.

Leon.

Looks great Leon!!! those were some beautiful birds!!! and yours is one too!

I am speechless!! That is a georgeeous build. How did you do the NMF?? Fantastic.

Kurt

Hello Miss Connie - you sure are Purdy !

Very nice build.

Chris

sweet looking Connie, Leon!

Ahh a beautiful build you have there!

My grandfater worked for Lockheed from 1940 to the mid 70’s, had his hand on just about every plane Lockheed produced during those years and he always said the Connie was the other plane he was most proud of being involved with, second only to the SR-71.

Man I love that plane. Please oh please would some one release a 1/48 injection molded version of that plane.

Great job Leon… Connie is beautiful.
