Last month, my wife convinced me that turning our DirectTV off and buying DVD box sets and movies instead would be a good idea. I must say that idea wasn’t good…it was great! I finished three projects in the last month and on the way to finishing another one next week. I didn’t realize how much time the TV was taking. Getting a box set of “Dogfights” on DVD was an added bonus! I even have time to cruise here a couple of times a week. Let’s see…75 models in the closet at 2 or 3/month, hmmmm…

a very astute observation,the boobtube turns my days plans of finishing the three projects i have going into an afterthought,some day i will have the intestinal fortitude to drop the remote and pick up the airbrush.
True. Let’s not forget how much FSM devours of our workbench time. [:-^]
Sounds cool in some ways, but I’m way too much of a sports addict to get away with that myself.
Currently, the TV and workbench are in separate rooms. My plan for the next move is to get a second reciever and TV set up next to the model bench. I figure I can knock out a lot of building watching the Mariners, or staying up-to-date via the NFL Network!! [8D]
