I got the base through the post this mornin’ so I could finally finish this figure off. I ordered it from Derek at http://www.woodenbases.co.uk/ and I gotta’ say he makes some real fine pure wood bases.
I started by basecoatin’ the base with Vallejo Beige Brown, then with this brown and Tan Yellow mixed up some highlight shades. These were then drybrushed. I then applied some Mig Pigments to tie everythin’ together. I used Russian Earth for shadin’ with and Gulf War Sand and Light Dust for some highlights. Then of course I added some static grass.
