In this months FSM they have that a 1/48 Waco kit has been released by Sanger Models. I’ve been emailing them all week to find out about ordering it, but haven’t heard back. Last night I sent an email to an alternate distributor listed on their site. This morning I got an email stating that Sanger doesn’t have a Waco kit.
The kit is listed on their site. The URL is http://www.sangereng.fsnet.co.uk/. Has anybody every ordered anything from them? They seem like a pretty small shop, so I figured maybe they just haven’t been around this week or anything. Any pointers on getting in touch with them would be appreciated.
Sanger has just relocated their shop in the last two weeks, from the communications I’ve had with Gerald things are a little busy right now trying to get set back up for production and this is most likely why you have not heard back from him. It’s really just a cottage industry and you need to have a little patience right now. I am waiting for stuff from them also.
Awesome Swanny… Thanks for the info. I figured it was something like that. I’m sure it’s hard for a smaller shop to keep up when they produce hard to find, custom products… Especially after one of them is mentionedin FSM.
I have to say, when I saw the Waco kit listed, my heart practically jumped out of my chest. I remember the first time I saw one. It was a Wright-Patterson AFB when I was a kid. I think I’ve wanted one ever since. Every so often I even pull out the postcard I bought way back when, and drool. Needless to say, I’m really excited.
On another note, your site is awsome! I go there all the time to read and re-read the articles you post. I’m originally from Cleveland and have been to Sandusky a million times. Go Ohio! Woohoo!
