With the 5 million builds I have going all at about the same place in construction I realized… oh yeah I am in a GB on another forum.

So here is my A1-J that will be done up in SEA camo with VNAF Markings

Completely out of the box including cut out harness decals CA’d to the seat. My AB is down at the moment so all painting you see is hand painted including future, weather and flat coats

That cockpit looks great! I’m with JWest, how did you do that?[bow] What kit is that? I have the Tamiya kit, and I finished the Italeri kit as well. I love these spuds, they are awesome![tup]

The instruments are the kits supplied decals. I dont have decals for 3.5 inch instruments

Nah just a liquid ton of Mr. Marksoftner. The decal covers the entire front face so i plastered it on there. Once it was dry I touch up the black that didnt match my paintjob and drybushed it all with RLM 75 and then put a dot of future oneach face to restore its look.

Came out nice I must say.

Even more impressive. I always had a difficult time getting Tamiya’s thick decals to settle over the consol detail, so I started cutting mine out. Takes a lot of time, though

The secret to Tamiya decals is to use the Mr Softer decal solution, it’s the only thing the Tamiya and Hasegawa decals really respond to,
