would like to share my latest build with you, I dont build helis but i like this one so i build it. Its a HobbyBoss kit with some resin bits added, The engine deck, tail nose ans side sponsons are all resin. I really enjoyed this kit, took me just over a week to finish.

What scale is the 'chopper? Looks great, I can only say the rotors need sag, can the assembly be removed and heated in hot water? Stay away from the stove and have a large enough container to keep the tips from the edge, preferably something NOT metal. The best way would be to have the blades formed over something with the correct curve, the heat will give the plastic ‘memory’ when removed from form ‘jig’ A Tupperware container with the center cut out for the rotor hub and tied down a few spots would be ideal. This way they will take sag equal without having to hand bend which could prove tricky unless done individually.
A light wash with Tempura paints (easily removed over a gloss finish) would make the panel lines & details ‘pop’ Also weathering powder black stains around the engine exhaust (keep this light handed) would help convey realism.
It looks good. Good job on it.
The kit is 1/72. I was going to put in some sag on the blades, but when looking at the heli in person i saw that there is no sag on them they are very straight. here is some pics.

I still believe a tiny bit of sag would add to your helicopter, regardless excellent build Mike.

I have been eyeing this kit at my LHS… Does it have an interior and can the side doors be opened? Or is it just a cave with seats?

Thank you guys the resin kit is made by scaleworx here in South Africa. the hobby boss kit has a full interier and the side doors do open if you wish.

That is an awesome build… well done.[:D[ A comment on the blades, dont droop them. The only droop you’ll see on those blades, will be when they are tied down. Those blades are very rigid. Do you perhaps have some construction pics of your Super Lynx before it was painted?
