S class destroyer from WW2?

Hi!

I bought a 1:200 paper card kit of “HMS Saumarez” from Poland, and have played with the thought of making it in plastic card instead. The Polish instructions are a bit of a problem in any case…

To make things easier (I hope), it would be easier to build a “normal” plastic kit.

Has there ever been manufactured an S class destroyer (“HMS Scorpion”/“Savage”/“Stord”/“Saumarez” etc.)?

If not, do you know if there has been a destroyer kit released which could be reworked to a S class destroyer?

The Q thru Z emergency program classes are all very similar in hull and structures with variations in armament, masts, antennae and propulsion. Unfortunately I’m not aware of any plastic or resin kits of these vessels.

The next closest would be the O and P classes, and there are plastic kits available for Onslow in 1/700th. After market PE and some surgery would be required.
