Well, I got my Alanger T-35 Soviet Heavy tank today (EBAY rules) and I got to thinking there aren’t enough group builds going on. So how about a Russian Group Build, any genre (armor, aircraft, ships, etc…) any scale, any era…

Saw that baby in the FSM. Oh this stinks. Of course I’d say yes, but I have nothing in the stash, and I’m waiting patiently for Trumpeters KV-1 to release or hopefully a Dragon T-34 model 42, or model 43 to be released this year (no rumors, just wishful thinking). I guess it depends, but I will if the time and the kit is available.

Not enough group builds going on [:0] Well you can never have enough vodka … er T-34’s I meant to say [:p] As long as you don’t limit the scale to the 1/16 Trumpeters, I’m in.

put me down as maybe, i want to build a kv-1, perferribly Eastern express, but i may have to wait until trumpeter’s, cause the EE one is hard to find.

october is along way away too…

I think October is far enough away. Overlaps with the Pearl Harbor build, but it shouldn’t be a problem. I’m in.

what do you think about opening it up to the flyboys and waterwalkers and make it to include armor, air or sea? just a thought.

I am ready for this build. Russian armor is what I love to build. I definitely have enough kits from which to choose.

tigerman - the modeling gods are smiling on you. this gives you an excuse to go buy something at the LHS. great how things work out, eh?

Did somebody say go raid the LHS? [:p] I like the late start on this. I don’t think I will commit to anymore summer builds, always too many distracting things going on. I’m hopeful the KV-1 will be out by then. I just hope it is better than their old M1. Yes a maybe it is.

OK I’m going to try the 1/72 PST T-54/54A. I want to make the Vietnam era NVA Soviet-made T-54/55. I guess this should work for this group build. If not let me know. I need something for my M48’s to shoot at.

Ok, count me in too! Can always find a little something to build that will fit in here! Have you ever tried cranberry flavoured vodka…??! Neat stuff!

yep count me in also Geoffrey [;)] just finishing up on a su100 , and october is a nice bit away so can do some stuff in between [:D] mmmmmm. oh yeh still have a su122(tamiya) in the pile so shall go for that one .
