how do i get the russian cockpit color? i cant find the right color. is it a mix? if so, of what? thanks.

Well, this really depends on which aircraft you’re working on, since there are many different colours that were used over time.
Try White Ensign Models (www.whiteensignmodels.com), they stock a whole range of ready-mixed russian air force paints.

It all depends on the aircraft type and era. If you look on your Hind question post, you have a couple suggestions there. Late Soviet era aircraft, especially fighters such as the MiG29, Su-27, and Su-25 switched to a medium gray.
