A couple of Marders taking time out from the battle to replenish supplies and
ammo.A couple of stragglers have come upon the scene to catch some much needed rest. This dio was as much new to me as it is to all of you in that I had never used foliage on German vehicles so this was pretty much a trial run.
Another fine piece of work. Great weathering on the vehicles and I like the camo job on the uniforms. My only complaint is that you didn’t take an overall pic of the diorama with both Marders, so we can get the full effect…lol
Thanks very much guys, the groundcover was done the same way as in the dio “Prime Movin” cept maybe a few more ingrediants like wood bits from Micheals, grass and hay.
If rubble is called for I treat it in the same fashion as sand and attach it the same way.
Wow, what a huge difference since the last time I saw this! Once of your best yet Russ, this is one awesome piece! The foilage on the marders really turned out great, and the barn is top notch, great figures!
SmokinPiece, I believe that Italeri makes a Marder, and Tamiya makes 2, the Marder III and the IIIM.
Thank you all for the comments, unfotunately Smokin this is the Marder IIID kit from Allen
and yeah had a few runins with a couple of other Allen kits, unfortunately not the most pleasurable builds.
I guess it all boils down to time Zo, if one gets to work at this stuff everyday I would consider him or her …very lucky!
Thanks again everyone and keep buildin.
excellent dio sasd. did you airbrush that? i ask because there are alot of tiny details in there, especially the soldiers uniforms, but also big parts, such as the armored units. thx for the pics and overall, excellently done
