Russian Autumn

A couple of Marders taking time out from the battle to replenish supplies and
ammo.A couple of stragglers have come upon the scene to catch some much needed rest. This dio was as much new to me as it is to all of you in that I had never used foliage on German vehicles so this was pretty much a trial run.

…if you would like to see the rest …

Russ…another great job. BTW, how does the Alan Marder IID go together?

Incredible! I love all the attention to detail that you put into your projects, I must say this one looks very impressive.

Regards,

Darren.

Hey Russ,

Another fine piece of work. Great weathering on the vehicles and I like the camo job on the uniforms. My only complaint is that you didn’t take an overall pic of the diorama with both Marders, so we can get the full effect…lol

TigerII

hi guys, thanks for the comments, yeah Dave the Marder II D was an ok build, what can I say its an Allan kit! Heres an overall shot for you TigerII.

Thanks

TigerII

great job on your dio what did u use for ground work?

Nice work Sasd

Thad

Thanks very much guys, the groundcover was done the same way as in the dio “Prime Movin” cept maybe a few more ingrediants like wood bits from Micheals, grass and hay.
If rubble is called for I treat it in the same fashion as sand and attach it the same way.

Man you are prolific.

Great vehicles and figures. Nice to see some flowers!

Excellent work man. Nice job all around. Who makes the Marder III by chance if I may ask?

Wow, what a huge difference since the last time I saw this! Once of your best yet Russ, this is one awesome piece! The foilage on the marders really turned out great, and the barn is top notch, great figures!
SmokinPiece, I believe that Italeri makes a Marder, and Tamiya makes 2, the Marder III and the IIIM.

Very nice dio thx for the pics.

Excellent work as usual sasd. I wish I could pump them out as fast as you do.

super job!!! great detail! the foliage looks fine to me!

That is really good, wish I could do a dio like that…

Thank you all for the comments, unfotunately Smokin this is the Marder IIID kit from Allen
and yeah had a few runins with a couple of other Allen kits, unfortunately not the most pleasurable builds.
I guess it all boils down to time Zo, if one gets to work at this stuff everyday I would consider him or her …very lucky!
Thanks again everyone and keep buildin.

excellent dio sasd. did you airbrush that? i ask because there are alot of tiny details in there, especially the soldiers uniforms, but also big parts, such as the armored units. thx for the pics and overall, excellently done

excellent work yet again sasd your eye for detail is yet again brillant well done.

Ron

This is scary, but ol’ Russ don’t own a airbrush…all done by hand…sickening, isn’t it? LOL
