I’m building a model of a BTR-70 and would like to paint it as one used by the Soviets in Afganistan. But I can’t mind any camoflage pics to use as a reference can anyone help me out please.
This is about the only thing I have found anywhere in color.

The Russian vehicles in Afghanistan were camouflaged in the typical Russian green in all it´s shades (due to the fact that serveral green colours were used).
In Afghanistan they received an additional comouflage with a sand colour, that were handpainted with a brush. So, any airbrush camouflage that you see on models is wrong. The sand colour was always applied on the overall green camouflage.
