well don’t know if this is where this go’s guess i’ll find out. more painting but it’s getting there. just stuck on one more 1/25th fig from Tamiya and i can make Rommel. anyway almost hve the HT done. hope you like

is that tape recorder from a Ford Thunderbird kit?

I used to have a car kit which had a tape recorder included as an accessory.

hey Sprue-ce Goose 1st cool name! the tape rec came from a 1949 mercury kit.

Those were quite common in the mid 60’s AMT annual 3 in 1 custromizing car kits. A friend of mine at the time and I used to use engine blocks and spare part to build “robots.” The tape recorders made great heads for them.

I may pick it up for a future project and use the tape deck on something else.

yeah Sprue-ce Goose i got that kit last year it’s an AMT. kit not only did the tape recorder come in the kit theres car chrome trophys and other cool things in the kit.

I have this one waiting it’s turn. I’m not sure just how I’m gonna finish it.

I’m thinking way distressed and out there, like old Erwin has been ghostly motoring around in the desert for decades.

thanks agentg Grimmo & Guney. here’s where i’m at as of now. they didn’t put the trun lights in the kit so i made them from clear stretched sprue and sanded them to fit. the jerry cans we’re just bad so i hope i fixed them? well i tried. hope you like.

thanks p38 cool name. and Bullet also cool name, i wanted two of them p38 but i’m married[*-)]. HAHA. all that’s holding this build up is one more fig i’m trying to get the Tamiya’s 1/25 fig. the officer. for Rommel. but i’m having a heck of a time finding it on ebay. thanks again

After looking over the Rommel’s Rod kit, I must say it has the same potential for customizing as the Deals Wheels Messa-Schitzel .

I’m gonna have a lot of fun just rummaging thru my spares box for car, tank and maybe a few airplane donor parts. [:D][H]

almost done made the decal on to of the tool box it says craftsman in german somewhat. the book i copied and made what Hitler should have said.[:D] and after catching heck over the carpet i made it black as you can see. hope you like.

thanks Mike. was worried about the craftsman thing. i made it off decal some decal sheet didn’t know if i should have added it glad i did now. on the book i was going to use “MEIN KRAP” but didn’t want anyone thinking i didn’t know how to spell.[:P]

hey i cought so much over the blue carpet that i changed it to black. but now they want it dulled down. but i was coping one of the pic’s i’d seen. so should i hit it with dullcoat.[:(] is the black carpet better than the blue carpet?? thanks guys for any help.

well done with the head lights a little work on the paint and the RR will be done for the most part. the fig’s are something else have the driver but i need a 1/25th Tamiya officer. oh well hope you like.
