Rolife Greenhouse.

Thank keavdog. I used the kit glue although nearly hard and stringy. I got the base the wrong way round so used coffe stirers on the inside of the actual ‘glass house’ to slot the base into. So now to finish the front and attach to the base. I thank that attaching the roof erspex to the sides will be the most difficult and I will hang the lights but not wire them up to batteries as the can corrode when not in use.

I may go round the ‘glass’ and add coffee stirers as a ‘wood’ frame look. But I’m away now from Saturday for two weeks. But will miss the construction that has been enjoyable.

Hey!

That’s looking alright. Go Enjoy your vacation. We can just be patient.

Cheers Tanker-Builder.

Hi Keavdog, yes I had to cut off all the tabs, as stretching the clear plastic body made the roof come apart a few times. The glue has now run out so I’m using a mixture of white paper glue and a contact adhesive. Oh thank god for coffee sticks/stirrers!

Now nearly, nearly there…

Hey!

You got my orchids grown yet? That’s looking Good. Now, build one out of LEGO. Frankly, the size of the squares remind me of LEGO clear panels!

Yeah she’s looking great! Enjoy your holiday!

Thanks guys. A LEGO Greenhouse, don’t get me going! So after 2 weeks of cruising across Scandinavia, I decided to paint the woodwork as you would have to outside in all weathers, so found some light grey acrylic.

So it’s going outside? Looking so good, you’re doing a terrific job there!

So I gotta ask, did you see the fjords? [:P]

Well it might do, alongside our real one!

A few more completed shots…

Hey Pat!

A LEGO green house,Why not? Then I could brag to my LEGO group that you built one and they should come over here and see it! That looks great. Now are you gonna try to grow dwarf Orchids and Roses in there? LOL LOL! T.B.

Thanks Tanker-Builder, well I was thinking Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Chilli’s etc.!

I haven’t got enough LEGO spares to build anything at present, perhaps I should give them a call, I slipped up as I was in Denmark and Sweden last week!

Well Pat!

You would need about a bunch of clear panels. I would say Three “Ship in Bottle” kits should be a good start. Anything you can’t use can always be swapped out for more or store credit at your local LEGO aftermarket store.

Oh! You don’t want to forget the Green LARGE baseplate and the Grey bricks for the foundation. Also, LEGO has plenty of small flowers!

Yes, yes Tanker-Builder I get the hint!

Now, I bought the Rolife Cube separately, so it has pride of place in our front room!

Hey!

A very great way to display. Good on you !

Oh that looks great Pat! Nice work! [ht]

Thanks Tanker-Builder & Gamera. I’ve just looked at thier website again, and there’s about 20 that look very good!

Hi, Pat!

Hey, went to Hobby Lobby a couple of days ago looking for glue .Went in the Doll-house Section , and there they were your greenhouses and my little trailer kits. Lady said that was their second stocking that week. So I guess we got some Good ones, Eh?
