Part of a group build on MM, but I’m really happy with this little jug…built a small paint booth for inside use (do most of my spraying out in the garage), and I couldn’t be happier…less than 40 bucks worth of materials, and it cut dry time in half. Can’t believe I waited this long to make one!
Looking good! What kit is it, I’m guessing a 1/48 Tamiya P-47D.
I wish it was ! Nope, it is just the1/72nd Revell of Germany P-47d-30…actually, quite a nice little kit. For the eight bucks it runs, it has quite a lot of detail, and some really, really good engineering. They spent some time on those molds.
It is a fun little kit to put together…should be interesting to see all of the entries on the group build, too.
Decided to go with the straight gunship platform…filled in the belly tank depressions, and bagged on the rockets (fire concern in Ecuador, you know)…so this is a COIN operating out of Manta in the 50’s:
