Well I started a second kit
Rodens Gladiator and True Details cockpit for it. I primed the resin with a 50/50 mix of Mr. Surfacer and lacquar thinner. Thus it starts…

Cool! Keep us updated!
Yup, looks like some primed resin from here. Good luck on the build. How’s the Hog progressing?
Regards, Rick
The hog is resting right now… I got the checkers on the cowl nearly finished and 8 hydrolic actuator arms ready to be mounted after I finish the plumbing in the gear bay. I didnt seem to create any interst here in that build so I stopped posting. Its looking good.
is that a badger 360 i see?
Hi Jeff,
The Gladiator’s going to be a nice one, looking forward to seeing it come together! [:)]
“Hog”? "hydrolic actuator arms "? UH-1B? Hmmmm… I must have missed that one, Jeff, sorry… [:(]
Take care,
Frank

got the instrument panel started… my favorite part of any build.
Heya Hooker… I am super-detailing a 32nd scale trunp F4U-1D and had it posted a while back.
Yep thats a 360, my weapon of choice now.
little more detail to it now…

Ahh, now were getting there. Good job on the panel.
Regards, Rick
threw it in the air with some ca and this is what landed [;)]
I am enjoying this pit… though the TD instructions for this one leave alot to be desired.

jeff it is looking good.

Damn, Jeff, give a guy some air, because this one’s sucked it all out of my lungs! What a great start, and if the photos don’t lie, that panel is masterful. And speaking of which, where are you? I have a big, colorful brass Corsair panel with your name on it, in the envelope and ready to go, and three emails for your address (once again) go ignored.
Tom
Thanks Tom I appreciate it. You have mail.
I watching your build of this Gladiator with interest. I’ve got three of these kits to build, a Norwegian, a Belgian and a Greek aircraft. I have built a Gladiator before, the old Lindberg kit, that was fun but needed alot of work to look half decent. Are there any areas so far that you feel need improving?
The cockpit detail original to the kit is thin at best and I feel the panel lines that are nicely engraved… are to shallow.
If you get the true details cockpit take lots of time to study them before starting, they arent to clear on this one.
Hiya Jeff,
Long time no chat… Your off to a good start…!!! So what scheme are you going to put here in??
Flaps up, Mike
