Currently at Newhaven our station lifeboat is the RNLB David and Elizabeth Acland, named after the recently retired Chairman of the RNLI. She is the twenty-first of the Severn class boats built and was funded from a number of generous bequests
Thanks to all who have helped re the Newhaven Boat.
Now all i have to do is get the kit and then workout how to motorise and r/c it.
I have already modified an s-boot and a Clyde Puffer, both to 1/72, and they both go well.
Several members of the St George have motorised even smaller plastic kits and they work verry well.
