Does anyone out there know a reference which shows the Naval Lynx with its rotors folded for shipboard stowage? I am interested in similar photos for the Merlin. Particularly, I need to see any external braces for the rotors and the fold details. Additionally, does anyone know a good photo reference for the new AEW variant of the Sea King (AEW.7). I want to build kits of all these aircraft. Despite extensive searches on the internet and in my own library, I have not found any good data for these subjects.
If anyone wants to exchange photos via e-mail, I would be more than happy. I have numerous detail photos of modern aircraft from many airshows–especially US Navy aircraft.

If you’re hoping to model the merlin folded using the Italeri kit then you will need to do alot of work around the rotorhead area, as when you put the blades in the folded position the configuration is wrong( The instructions even show one blade folded on the outside of the tail).
Basically the Italeri kit has alot of faults not just the folding side of things.
the royal navies website has the best i’ve ever seen, look under photo gallery then aircraft, very high quality
Another site that may have some useful photos would be Airliners.net. They have a pretty extensive database of aircraft photos (I spend an enormous amount of time browsing there, no wonder I don’t get anything finished in a timely manner [sigh]).
