Thought I would make mention of the passing of John Young, Captain, USN Rtd.
A member of the second group of astronauts selected after the original seven, he made 6 trips into space, including walking on the moon.
Another one of my childhood heroes gone.

Never heard of him… Wasn’t mentioned on MSN…
He flew Gemini, Apollo, and the Space Shuttle… and was critical to getting Apollo 13 home alive.
Im sure MSN was too busy with fluff to carry the passing of a real hero and person of true scientific and historic significance.
