Tally-ho Robert,
It’s good to see you’ve joined the FSM group. I was introduced to Robert by my Brit friend you may recognize by the nom de plume Dances With Wolves. He sent over some of “Bob’s Buckles” for me to try on a coming WW I German aircraft project. Well, these little jewels are outstanding. The following is a photo of one of the buckles I’ve just threaded with 0.06mm monofilament fishing line.

Anyway, glad you’ve registered up Robert. The folks will be able to ask the master questions concerning the use and application of these gems. Robert is also a builder and particularly enjoys WW I aircraft which with his units make rigging a much more enjoyable process and aiding in the fine detail we all wish to display.
Some may say that this appears to be a plug to which I would respond “You bet.” Isn’t that a good part of what this grand hobby of ours is about, sharing with others techniques, tools and products that improve our projects and enjoyment in the building.
I appreciate very much and would like to thank FSM for making this forum available for not only allowing us to see the projects of others but all of the in between to get there.
Regards,
Patrick
