I’m looking to buy some new armor kits, but I don’t really know what’s trash and what’s treasure.[%-)] Do you guys know about any websites that have good and truthful reviews of models?
…you’re in da right place…now…this is the end of the road…jeffl
Aber,
Try this :
http://www.amps-armor.org/Reviews/AmpsReviews2.asp
It’s definetly for the armor buff but does give you something to go by
Good luck
Hello and welcome to the forum. The folks on here are very helpful and there is enough builders here to help you make a good selection of kit.
I think of the AMPS site as more of a reference site. Kind of like a “who made what” with just a thumbnail of info for the kit. If you want information on the newest kits coming from the Far East, you need to visit the Perth Military Modeling site. They are in Austrailia and get the kits before we see them in the US. If it’s hot and coming from Asia, they got a review of it.
Thanks for the links. Good luck in your search Aber.

I can tell you this right off hand, stay awayfrom Airfix 1/72 kits, especially their Stug III Glate. It comes with like 13 parts plus wheeles, trying to do the kit was a pain, especially since the wheeles didnt fit, and kept breaking off with the lightest touch.
Thanks for the info guys. If I’m looking to buy a perticular model I’ll of course ask you all before I buy.
