Review of Dragon Tiger I...

Go look at the Perth Military Modeling website. They have a review of the new Dragon Tiger I kit. WOW! There are photos of every sprue! That PE stuff looks terrific!

I think everyone is agreed that this kit is probably the new benchmark for Tigers.
The cool thing is I dont have a Tiger tank yet so I have nothing stopping me no internal struggles with do I need another one. Im good to go and saving up my pennies[:D]

It does look good!!
I’m gonna TRY to wait for the late version!

Well, it looks like I found my Tiger.

I am going to hang myself in my closet

That looks like one awesome kit.

Definitely a bargain for the price listed…no need to add AM stuff for it unless you really want to…the usual suspects have already been taken care of…Metal barrel? check. Grills? check. Indy tracks? check. PE tool clamps? check. Brass rounds/casings? check. All for $24 USD at GM (of course you have to join the now very long line of pre-orders but it’s worth it for the price). Amazing. They are even so considerate as to include bending guides on the plastic sprues for handling the clamps. Not sure exactly how that can be topped…the bar has seriously been raised for sure.

Only catch that I see so far is their “Magic” tracks…the PMMS review indicated that while they are meant to be snap-together, they are not meant to be workable…and they noted problems with keeping the links together without using glue. It’s personally going to mean a style change for me in terms of how I normally paint and handle tracks but it sounds like they should go together quicker at least.

If it were me, I’d jump off a cliff into a cold lake.

I’m still looking forward to building the new M4A2 as soon as the insane build is over.[:D]

Are there no tow cables? Also, no mention was made of the cloth flag that was on the inclusion list.

Like Brian. i want the Late. After looking at my now dated Tamiya build, a new one is now preferred. All those goodies too. [:p]

Now Jason, don’t you remember the last time you tried this it didn’t work because your closets are full of models!

True. Well, I guess I must wait instead[:(]
